Say HA HA HA!!! laughter is our best medicine!!!

Some of us laugh all day long, some don't!!!. The truth is that if you want to stay healthy, young and make the World or even your city a better place start showing up those teeth and repeat after me: HAHAHAAAA!!!!

We all have had difficult days. At home, work, school or even with your loved ones!!! maybe you didn't score what you wanted to in that important test, maybe the weather is not what it was supposed to be for your golf tournament, maybe your loved one say something you didn't want to hear, or maybe your boss lost his or her patience with you today! or maybe you lost it!! whatever the situation has been, don't lose it, relax for a little while count from 1 to 10 or just breath because EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE JUST FINE!!

Six months ago I was drown with GMAT (admission test for Graduate Business School!!), I had been studying for a year, received group and individual classes and had taken the test for 3 times!!!!! (my first score was the best one!!!). As I finished my third GMAT try my score went down 40 points!!! 40 points!!! and I thought I would never make it to my dream school!! I remember it was a rainy cold day in February in Boston!!!!. I was devastated, winter, rain, a low GMAT and no more dreams. I walked out of the room crying, went to my South Bay apartment walking with my eyes fully red, As I walked in prudential center (because cold was killing me!!!) I ran to the restrooms and break down crying... my "days in Business School"- Dream was over, I could never make it to my top choices with that score.

I arrived to my apartment and skyped my mom ASAP. For my surprise, when I told her my score she started to laugh and laugh and laugh!!! I could not believe it! my own mom laughing at my "no more dreams" situation?. I hung up the phone, without realizing she was doing the best for me. As the day passed by I decided to dress nicely and go out for a good dinner with a friend, after all, you need to distract your mind, don't you?. Day after day I started to prepare my applications, write my good essays and give all the best of me to get into those schools. A single test would not determine my capacity, neither as a professional nor as a well rounded person. So I decided to give the World my best face!!! a smiley cute beautiful face! (because all smiles are cute and beautiful! no matter your gender, color or shape!!!).

Every time you laugh you can light up someone's day, you reduce your level of stress, build a strong immune system, and even work out your abs!!! so, why not to give away smiles if they're free and help you staying healthier?. So go ahead! watch your favorite TV funny show, call your funniest friend, go out with friends and have a great time or just give someone your best smile!!! it's going to help you go through difficult and easy times and will make you stay healthy!!!

And if you were wondering, I DID GET INTO MY FIRST SCHOOL CHOICE!!!!! Cheers for a smile!, for the strength to go on! for those who make us laugh and for those who hold our backs without us knowing it!!!!

MY BEST SMILE AND LAUGHTER FOR YOU!!! Hhahahahahahhahaha!!!!!

Rotten Humanitarian aid from Venezuela to Haiti. Seriously, humanitarian?

Several months ago Haiti suffered one of the biggest natural disasters on Earth. Countries from all over the World gave their humanitarian hand to the suffered nation. Venezuela, a great country, my country filthy rich in oil (the so called "Land of the Opportunities") decided to send 1,500 tons of food as a humanitarian help. The ship was returned to Venezuela from Dominican Republic because it was rotten food.

The so called ship has been in Venezuela since June 6th. Actual government is giving it some kind of "especial treatment" so it can be sold in Venezuela. The questions that I ask myself as a Venezuelan citizen are: how humanitarian is to send rotten food to a poor country like Haiti?. Do this people (actual government) who decided to send this food have a little bit of morality to send help to a suffered country?. What kind of government receive rotten food back and decide to sell it in its country to its people?. Is there any kind of treatment in order to un-rotten food?.

Venezuelans should ask themselves more of this questions and stop believing what one person can say. Our problem as a nation is the lack of thinkers. Abuses from this government to its people and to all over the World need to stop. It never stops shaming me every time I read, think and analyze Venezuela's government actions...

What a great and pleasant country we could be if we only could stop a while to analyze and then act.

I play it when I'm sad and it cries for me, I play it when I'm angry and it screams for me!, and every time I am happy, it laughs and sings for me!!

I am a Business major with minor in Finance. I attended Universidad Metropolitana in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. I have had an extensive career in finance in my country so far, but I decided to move forward and look for graduate education abroad. That's why I will be attending Boston College for a Master of Science in Finance this year!!! I will be class of 2011.

Finance is my passion, and I am soooo excited about beginning my master this fall!!! especially in Boston! such a wonderful city! one of my favorites in the World!!
